About us

I'm Valerie Dramé, creator of Dramé Designs. My love for art and creating beautiful things goes back many years, but I took a long detour in my career. When I decided to explore and rediscover my creative self, I had no idea my journey would lead me to leather!

The Dramé collection is designed with craftsmanship and function in mind. The beauty is the icing on the cake. The product collection will continue to expand with the addition of more handbag and tote styles as well as new items such as backpacks, briefcases, laptop and tablet covers, and other leather accessories for women and men. Dramé's mission is to expand to a light manufacturing facility located on the Southside of Chicago. There are many communities there that are underserved in the areas of job opportunities and business development. If we can provide jobs that bring the joy that I feel when making handcrafted leather pieces while at the same time building community, my mission will be accomplished.
